My name is Meredith Cecil, I'm an RN, now retired after 34 years at St. Lukes Hospital. I have never had any formal art training, I've learned what I know through trial and error and with the help of several terrific mentors over the years. I paint mainly from photographs and imagination. 99% of my work is in watercolor though I have done some acrylic and oil painting as well; watercolor is my medium of choice. I do commission paintings on request but most of my work is done for pleasure and relaxation.
