I have always felt a connection with nature and its beauty. While attending a festival in Stockton, MO a fiber artist was doing a demonstration on “Eco Dyeing,” and I was immediately hooked! What started as a hobby has now become my passion to create prints from nature that others can enjoy. All color and patterns come directly from the plants themselves without using external dyes, inks or paints.
I currently work with several kinds of silks and hand dye scarves, table runners, wall hangings, lavender sachets and cards. Each kind of silk has its own unique set of challenges and surprises and patterns vary in intensity. I hope you enjoy my eco hand dyed silks and prints made directly from God’s nature. It’s always a surprise to see what gift nature leaves behind on the silk fabrics I use.
In the meantime, I will live and dye naturally!
