After studying art at the University of Missouri and Florida State University I spent 20+ years as a clothing designer and returned to painting in 2006. I work in watercolor, pastel and oil and love each medium for their own unique characteristics: the transparency of watercolor, the brilliant pigments of pastel and the depth and richness of oil. I am drawn to the natural world and use each medium to interpret my impression of the world around me.
